Financial Policy

 

The following is the financial policy of Pioneer Valley Veterinary Hospital, Inc.

 

Payment is due at time of service.

 

For extended treatment plans, elective surgery or hospitalized emergency cases a 50% deposit is required on the high estimate total.  Balance is due at the patient’s discharge.

 

The corporation accepts cash, debit, and credit cards for all clients.  Cash, debit or credit card payment is required for new and emergency clients. The corporation accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards only.

 

The corporation will accept checks with check numbers greater than 300 from established clients only. An established client is someone who has had more than one year of history of on time payments with the company.  The fee for a returned check is $20.00.

 

In addition to the above payment methods, the corporation also provides CareCredit as its in house financing method.  CareCredit may be applied for any balance or treatment plan that exceeds $300.00.  The application is subject to approval.  We offer 0%* financing based on balance for up to a 12-month term.  We also offer a low 9.9% interest rate for balances over $1000.00 for extended terms.

 

* Must follow terms and conditions to maintain 0% and balance must be paid in full by the end of the term. (see application)

 

Discounts

 A senior citizen discount of 10% is available on products only, for anyone ages 63 and over.  Active duty and retired K-9 officers receive a 25% discount on products only, not services.  Anyone using CareCredit is not eligible for any other simultaneous discounts (or combination of).
