I have been working in the field of veterinary medicine since 1991.  I started working at PVVH in 1994 assisting in the surgery ward while attending the animal sciences program at Holyoke Community College.  I graduated with honors and became a certified veterinary technician in 1996.  Since then, I have gained experience in all areas of the hospital - surgery ward, kennel, reception, office manager, and general assistant.

Outside of the field of veterinary medicine I have spent several years as an assistant chef, the manager of a small store, and the office manager and finance manager of a conference center.  I am currently also working as the administrator and general assistant of a small town in Franklin County and bookkeeper for a company specializing in equipment & supplies for working dogs. I also do bookkeeping and tax preparation on the side.  Any free time is spent with family, friends, and my faithful side-kick "Jake", a sweet German Shepherd mix. He accompanies me to work at my many jobs.
